Angelique lives by something her mother told her as a child, "Why be filled with hate when you can be filled with joy?" Due to this, things easily slide off Angelique's shoulder. She hasn't a care in the world, because if you can solve a problem, then what's the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what's the use of worrying?

Angelique doesn't let the world bother her. She is just a teenager and rather deal with teenager things that worry about being an adult. That time will come, and it's not now.

Angelique was popular as a child. She wanted everyone to be her friend because things were better when she had someone to rely on and she could be there for someone. Her heart is always open and willing to accept anyone looking for a friend.

Some might call her a dreamer, but Angelique believes everything has a silver lining. Oh you lost your shoe? That just means you get a new pair~ Oh you lost your job? If you ever ask Angelique about her mother, she'll always say great things about her, but one thing is always the same, "Mama's Word is Law. I'll never break Mama's heart. I'm her little Angel." Being raised by a single mother, Angelique had to help out a lot. She didn't ask questions and just always assumed her mother knew best. It wasn't until middle school that Angelique had done something against her mother's wishes and made her mother cry. She promised herself she'd never do it again.

History:

The little deerling grew up in Lumiose City in the region of Kalos. Her mother runs a boarding house for girls and Angelique has always helped out. When she was a child, she was popular in school with everyone and had many friends. The only person she couldn't talk to was a young eevee who was too scared of everyone to talk. She promised to be her friend one day. Other than tending to the house and obeying mother, Angelique was a normal child.

During middle school, her friends had decided to take a trip to the lake outside the city limits. Angelique had asked her mother for permission but was told no. She was so disappointed that she decided to go anyway. What her mother didn't know wouldn't hurt her, right? Well the trip lasted longer than she thought and she didn't get home til late. Her mother was so upset and scolded her until both were crying. After that day, Angelique promised never to disobey again.

After years of being a good daughter, Angelique became bored. She couldn't go out with friends, so their relationships died down to almost nothing. It wasn't until a vaporeon had returned home from being away for a year. After finally making friends with the eevee from her childhood, who evolved into a vaporeon, Angelique decided to go back with her to PGA. She begged her mother, and finally got a yes, but at the first sign of trouble, Angelique would have to return home right away.
